In the days and weeks following the murders at 5801 Eagle Drive, Rowllett TX, the Rowlett Police Department received calls as well as visits to the Department from various individuals believing they had witnessed suspicious activities. What follows is an example of one of the Lead Sheets collected in Case #95-18563:

Message:

Stated she was watching television at 0130 hrs. the night of the murders. said someone tried to get into her house also saw a large built person at front porch turning (drk clothes) the doorknob and pushing on door. She turned on porch light and subject ran off north of her house towards Willowbrook. Unfamiliar vehicle parked in front of her house - drk blue (possibly) 4 dr. Subject then returned to her house and attempted to get in through a window at the front of the house. Subj. had a knife or a screwdriver. Stated she didn't call police because she didn't think anything about it until she found out about the murders. Toth contacted complainant. Subj. and vehickle in question: 1989 Ford 2dr. TX, LP KWL04V - live at 8826 Miami. Comp.'s neighbor.
